Morning Devotions

For our daily devotions, we are using a book called DAILY LIGHT on the DAILY PATH. Which is compiled by the Samuel Bagster Family. This is what this morning's devotion was on:

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways
James 1:8

No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. LUKE 9:62

He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. HEBREWS 11:6 Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tosses by the wind. For let not the man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord. JAMES 1:6-7 Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and that you will have them. MARK 11:24

No longer be children, tolled to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love,.....grow up in all things into Him who is the head; even Christ. EPHESIANS 4:14-15

Abide in Me. JOHN 15:4 Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 CORINTHIANS 15:58

That last verse is sooo true. So many times our actions are based upon whether or not people are watching. If there is no one watching, phew, then why should I do it then?? Many of times we forget that there is an eye watching every thing we do and is much more important than what's- there- name on the street. We have to be mindful that everything we do is seen by God. And not just our actions but our attitudes too. So, the rest of the week do everything unto God with a JOYFUL attitude!!
